My Personal Software Development Philosophy

I approach software development from a personal place: I build tools that solve problems I encounter in my own life. Rather than keeping these solutions locked away or treating them as proprietary secrets, I believe in sharing what I create with the world. Software, to me, is most powerful when it’s open—when others can adapt, learn from, or simply use it to make their own lives a bit easier. While I always welcome feedback and suggestions, I can’t promise every feature request will make it into my projects. My journey isn’t about chasing perfection or pleasing everyone, but about learning and making things better, one step at a time.

I don’t consider myself a coder (or even an average coder); I’m just an enthusiast who’s eager to improve, experiment, and grow. I’m fortunate enough that I don’t need to make money from my projects, and I don’t expect anything in return.

If you find value in something I’ve built and want to show your appreciation, I encourage you to donate to a local charity or community cause instead. My hope is that, by sharing my work freely and redirecting gratitude into acts of local kindness, we can all have a small but meaningful impact beyond the code itself.
