Update: Browzar users security and privacy compromised.
How does a lightweight browser with no installation requirement sound? How about a browser that comes standard with the following features?
- No browsing history, stored files, or cookies – bottom line, no record of your browsing habits.
- No search auto-complete
- No installation required – click and run. Load this on to our USB thumbdrive.
Browzar offers all that in a tiny 264K package. Currently available for Windows users with plans for OS X and Linux alternatives. Sure, you can achieve the same privacy control using a portable version of Firefox, but where’s the fun or change in that?
If anything, and based off of personal tests, Browzar looks to be some sort of privacy minded Internet Explorer wrapper.
