North Carolina man convicted of stealing bread recipes

newsobserver.com | Nation: “A man was found guilty Thursday of burglary and theft of trade secrets for stealing recipes from a family-owned bakery last year.

Mazen Fathi Said, 32, owner of a bakery in Greensboro, N.C., was found guilty of entering the Morabito Baking Co. in Norristown on two days in June 2003 and stealing books containing more than 50 recipes for bread and rolls. Prosecutors said he also videotaped the bakery’s operations.

The recipes were later recovered.”
